At Spiral Space, everything we do is rooted in connection, growth, and care for our community. As our studio continues to evolve, we’re excited to share an important update designed to better support your journey with us.

We are officially transitioning from Mindbody to Groovio as our new booking and community platform.

This shift allows us to offer a more intuitive, connected, and empowering experience for our students — both inside and outside the studio.

💫 What This Means for You

First and foremost, we want to reassure you:

• All memberships and class packs will be fully transferred to Groovio
• You will not lose any credits, classes, or access
• No repurchasing or rebooking is required

Your existing memberships, packages, and schedule will be waiting for you in the new system.

Members will enjoy additional perks, including discounts on extra classes, workshops, and special offerings.

🧠 Skill Tracking & Clear Progression

You’ll now be able to see what skills you’re learning in each class and level, making progression clearer and more intentional.

🗓 9-Week Class Terms

Classes will now follow 9-week (approximately 2-month) terms, meaning class formats and progressions will stay consistent for a full cycle before updating. This allows for deeper learning, less overwhelm, and more confidence as you grow.

💬 In-App Group Chats

Groovio includes group chats within the app, making it easy to connect with your teacher and the studio, ask questions, and stay in the loop — all in one place.

📲 A Smoother Booking Experience

Groovio offers a cleaner, more intuitive interface that makes booking, managing your account, and staying connected easier than ever.

📥 How to Access Groovio

Getting started is simple:

1. Download the Groovio app from the App Store or Google Play
2. Search for Spiral Space Dance Studio
3. Log in using the same email you used on Mindbody
4. Reset your password if prompted
5. Enter your credit card or payment info
6. Your memberships, class packs, and schedule will already be there. If you have a membership on auto-pay or an active class pack, we’ll send you a personal email to ensure a smooth transition.

🚫 A Note About ClassPass

As part of our transition to Groovio, Spiral Space will no longer be partnering with ClassPass.

We want to say first and foremost: we are so grateful for every student who found us through ClassPass. Many of you became beloved members of our community, and this decision does not come lightly. We truly love and appreciate you.

Unfortunately, Groovio does not support ClassPass integration, making it impossible to continue that partnership on our new platform. In addition, the payout structure from ClassPass does not allow us to sustainably support our teachers, maintain our space, or continue offering the level of care and quality we value for our community.
